MACRES

The Maccaferri MacRes system features vertical discrete precast concrete facing panels and layers of ParaWeb reinforcement, planar geostrips manufactured from high-tenacity polyester yarns. The reinforcing geostrips are encased in a tough and durable polyethylene coating which acts as a chemical barrier that minimises the risk of chemical attack in high aggressive environments. The ParaWeb reinforcement is mechanically connected to the precast concrete facing panels by means of a proprietary connection element. The system is mostly used in infrastructure and urban environments as replacement of traditional vertical structures to retain the soil mass and it is characterized by high frictional and pull-out performances.
