However, certain road sections are prone to slope erosion and rockfall hazards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>One of the challenges that must be addressed is the elimination of surface erosion and the protection of the site against abrupt drawdown through the use of simple but effective solutions.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>With over 60 years of experience in rockfall protection systems and natural hazard mitigation,\u202f<strong>Maccaferri ensures our solutions\u2019 reliability, effectiveness, and sustainability.<\/strong>\u202fThe installation of Maccaferri\u2019s Active Rockfall Protection System mitigates the potential hazard of soil erosion and falling boulders, ensuring the safety and security of the infrastructure and the people.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Installing rockfall mitigation systems on steep rock slopes in remote areas can be challenging, which is why we make our systems simple to install, robust, and effective.
