Our easy and rapid to deploy Defencell MAC barrier system protects troops by providing ballistic protection, blast mitigation and HVM vehicle barriers. Ideal for protecting FOB’s, command posts or checkpoints, Defencell MAC gabions are filled with earth, sand or other locally available fill materials.
It is also applicable to civil locations requiring these security measures. Defencell MAC is a range of protective welded mesh metal gabions lined with geotextile and supplied in several standard sizes. Used by many militaries and NGOs, Defencell MAC gabions are supplied pre-assembled and folded for shipping and are easy to deploy by pulling open, positioning and filling.
