located in the lower part of the Tonameca River basin, just a few kilometers from its mouth at the Pacific Ocean. In recent years, significant increases in Tonameca River floods have been recorded, particularly during hydro-meteorological events such as hurricanes. The most recent one in 2022, named Agatha, caused significant damage due to the flooding of the communities near the riverbed.<\/p>\n                    <\/div>\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<div class=\"container-full text-bocolor-block-green\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n        <div class=\"col-12\">\n            <div class=\"container box-container\">\n                <div class=\"row\">\n                    <div class=\"col-12\">\n                        <h3>Solution<\/h3>\n                    <\/div>\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>    \n    <\/div>\n        <div class=\"row\">\n        <div class=\"col-12\">\n            <div class=\"container box-container\">\n                <div class=\"row\">\n                    <div class=\"col-12 content\">\n                        <p>Emergency actions such as dredging and the establishment of temporary embankments were implemented.
